Festival box office & Bookshop

Tickets can be purchased from the Festival Box Office, found alongside Waterstones Festival Bookshop, located in the Royal Fowey Yacht Club. Box Office opening times will be published here nearer to the start of the Festival. The Yacht Club is also home to the Festival Café offering morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and pre event suppers.

Waiting lists

If an event sells out, it may be possible to move it to a larger venue in order to satisfy the demand. We will set up a waiting list to assist with this and the on the off chance that we receive any returned tickets. Festival visitors will of course be informed if there is any change of venue or if further tickets become available.

Dogs

The team at the du Maurier Festival Society love dogs, but we do not accept them (or any other pet) in the Festival venues as we need to look at the comfort of all our Festival visitors. We do of course welcome Registered Assistance Dogs.

Toilet facilities

Toilet facilities can be found in Market Street below the Town Hall, a short walk from the Parish Church and below the entrance steps to the Town Hall at Ground Level. (40p). The Parish Church facilities are not available for public use and the Town Hall has limited toilet facilities.

The Church is wheelchair accessible but please email us once you have made a booking so we can reserve a space for you. Unfortunately the Town Hall is not, It is an old building with many steps, but depending on your disability it may be possible to gain access from the rear of the building with the help of our stewards. If you need assistance please email us so we can make arrangements for you. There is a Hearing Loop in the Church and Town Hall.

Events held in Fowey Parish Church

The wonderful Fowey Parish Church is an old building with magnificent stonework pillars. As a result, some seats have a restricted view of the stage area. It is advisable to remember this when attending events in the church, particularly those that are in high demand. Seats are reserved for Friends of the Festival however the rest of the seating is on a first-come, first served basis. The stone construction of the church does mean it can get a little cold, so you may wish to bring warm clothing when attending an event. Also for comfort, you may wish to bring a cushion to use on the wooden pew seating.

Dogs

The team at the du Maurier Festival Society love dogs, but we do not accept them (or any other pet) in the Festival venues as we need to look at the comfort of all our Festival visitors. We do of course welcome Registered Assistance Dogs.

Toilet facilities are available at all venues. The Parish Church, has only one toilet, (up a few steps) but there are also the public conveniences at ground level, just beyond the Church gates (20p). There are toilets within the Town Hall, but, in addition, the public conveniences are situated at the foot of the Fowey Town Hall steps at Ground Level. (20p).
