Join us for a special pre-Christmas Festival fundraising quiz evening full of music, brain teasers, quizzes, and conversation with BBC Radio 3‘s Petroc Trelawny, author and quizmaster extraordinaire!
We are thrilled that joining Petroc will be Richard Sisson, formally ‘Widow’ of Kit and the Widow, and renowned musician and score writer of Alan Bennet’s, The History Boys.
Rounds will include Cornish general knowledge, Cornish history, geography, and culture, along with pieces of classical music, great artists, and composers. Richard will provide clues at the keyboard, and there will be a chance for a good old sing-along as well! After papers have been marked and the winner announced, stay for another drink, chat with friends old and new, and of course, Petroc will be happy to chat and sign copies of his books, both of which make the perfect Christmas gift. Join the quiz with a friend, in a small group (max 6 in a team), or if you are super confident, join in solo! The festival bar will be open throughout the event, where you will also be able to purchase tickets for our Christmas raffle. Doors open 7pm.
