Paul de Zulueta and Rupert Tower, grandsons of Daphne du Maurier, engage in an expansive talk about their forbears. Drawing upon Carl Jung’s Concept of the No 1 and No 2 Personalities, Paul will explore the wider family from a No 1 personal and outer perspective, while Rupert will examine the inner world of No 2 that evoked Daphne’s deeper, darker understanding and interiority as expressed through her imaginative writing.

They will share anecdotes, extracts from letters, writings and film clips that express the rich Du Maurier Family legacy and their contributions to society and modern culture.

Virago is publishing Last Night I Dreamt: A Personal History of the Du Mauriers by Paul de Zulueta.
