Charlie Walters, the 25‑year‑old MasterChef: The Professionals finalist and chef‑owner of Fowey’s Michelin‑acknowledged Narla, invites du Maurier enthusiasts to an intimate evening combining fine dining with literary reflection. As the Festival’s final flourish, this special night pays tribute to Daphne du Maurier and the Cornish town that shaped her imagination.

Guests will enjoy a six‑course menu created to experience and enjoy an evening in appreciation of the atmosphere and emotional depth of Daphne du Maurier’s writing. Dr Patrick Newberry, will offer commentary that brings her life and work vividly to the table.
The evening features the lauded Manderley cocktail, setting the tone for a sensory celebration of story, place and flavour. With limited tickets available, this one‑night‑only experience on 9th May promises to be a memorable finale to the Festival.
Tickets: £150 per person, includes a donation to the du Maurier Fowey Festival Society.
