Art Trail

Fowey Art Trail, are excited to showcase our amazing talented local artists. 2024 brings new artists and venues, alongside the familiar.

.

Those who walk the route will be treated to a journey of discovery, taking in 30 exhibitions in 17 locations around Fowey, Bodinnick and Polruan.

The Trail, run in conjunction with Fowey Festival of Arts and Literature, started in 2015 and has become an ever more popular annual event, with the magnificent estuary forming the perfect backdrop.

A more diverse range of work than ever is on display this year, as some artists have experimented away from their usual art forms. Works on show include paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculpture, photography, jewellery, textiles, and paper-cut art.

In some cases, the Trail takes visitors right into the artists’ homes and studios, where they can meet the artists in person.

Students from The Fowey River Academy return again this year, exhibiting work inspired by marine scenes, seascapes and landscapes at the Mission to Seafarers.

A brochure mapping out the venues will be available in shops and venues to guide you around the trail providing a visual treat for the senses.
