William Hudd

Guitar Recital

Thursday 1 October, 12:30pm-1:30pm
Fowey Parish Church
Free entry – donations welcome

Professional guitarist and composer, William Hudd, first picked up the guitar aged eight and was soon delighting his audiences with the popular rock tunes of the 1960’s & 70’s. On hearing, and later meeting, the great Andrés Segovia, William was inspired to explore the depth and versatility of the classical guitar. William’s mission at the start of his career was…‘to engage with the audience and to master any piece of music regardless of style and genre, from Bach to Black Sabbath and everything in-between’. This remains his mantra today. Join us for an hour of sheer delight as he provides an exciting performance that takes us on a journey through time, including composers such as Scarlatti; Bach; Weiss and Grandos. William will also perform a selection of his own compositions.

Wine and soft drinks available.
