1. A gorgeous, established and secluded wooded garden with camellias, magnolias and rhododendrons etc. with summer-house and sunken seating area.

Open: 11am to 4pm Saturday only.
Access: Easy access from the lane.


2. A tranquil, informal garden featuring ponds and a waterfall with herb garden. Bee-friendly, rockery, greenhouse and sheltered seating. Not suitable for children. Dogs welcome (on leads).

Access: Wheelchair access possible.


3. A headland garden designed to fully utilise the stunning views of St.Catherine’s and the open sea – no dogs and not suitable for children.

Access: via steep steps up from the street.

4. A lovely established garden with varied plants and vegetables. Beautiful views of the estuary and the open sea.

5. A small Mediterranean-style garden with beautiful views overlooking the estuary. Mainly planted with olive trees, lavender and succulents.

Open: 11am to 4pm Friday and Saturday.
Access: Via steps up from the street.

6. A small delightful terrace garden directly on the waterfront with views of Polruan and the estuary.

Address: Over the Cliff, 21 The Esplanade, PL23 1HY
Open: 10am to 4pm Friday and Saturday.
Access: Down a flight of stairs from street level to the garden.


7. A beautiful, peaceful and vibrant garden with spectacular uninterrupted views of Polruan and the open sea.

Address: Town House, The Esplanade, PL23 1HY
Open: 10am to 4pm Friday and Saturday.
Access: Steps down to entrance.


8. A secret walled garden and hidden terrace on the river with fabulous views across the estuary.

Address: The Boathouse, Whitford Yard, PL23 1BH
Open: 10am to 4pm Friday and Saturday.
Access: There are steps.

9. An enclosed garden with an artist’s studio and all-year round colour.

Open: 10:30 am to 3:30pm Friday and Saturday.
Access: A few steps.


10. A small Japanese garden with acers and tree peonies and a plethora of hostas.

Address: 1 Hill Hay Close, Fowey , PL23 1EL
Open: 10am-4pm Friday and Saturday.
Access: From the side of the house.


Unfortunately, refreshments are not available in any of the gardens.
