Membership – Friends of the Festival

Membership of The du Maurier Festival Society, as a Friend of the Festival, is valid for a fixed term from June 1st to May 31st for one year, except for Gold Members, which is for life.

The Friends of the Festival Scheme is offered in good faith and in the expectation that the benefits will be forthcoming. In the event however, that, in spite of reasonable endeavours of the Trustees of The du Maurier Festival Society, it is not possible to provide any of the benefits, monies donated will presume to become donations.

Please be prepared to show relevant ID if purchasing at the Festival Box Office during the Festival and upon admission an event.

Only one concession may apply per ticket.

Reserved Seating

Seats at all venues will be available of a first come, first served bases, when the venue is opened for the performance. There will be an area of reserved seating for those with a current membership for the Friends of the Fowey Festival of Arts and Literature. Events may have numbered tickets but this does not imply a reserved seat.

Refunds

Friends of the Festival: There are no refunds for membership .

Tickets: Please check your tickets as soon as you receive them. The du Maurier Festival Society regrets that there are no refunds of tickets purchased.

Cancellation and Refunds

Tickets are sold on a non-refundable or exchange basis.

Where an event is cancelled by the organiser, a ticket holder to that event will be entitled to a refund, less the amount for the processing fee levied when purchased with a credit or debit card. However, if you wish to support the Festival, you can donate the ticket price to the Du Maurier Festival Society.

Latecomers

Please arrive in plenty of time for your event. Please note that your ticket will specify the venue of your event so please allow plenty of time to arrive 15 minutes before the start of a performance. It is not always possible to admit latecomers as it may disturb the performance. In some instances it may be necessary to move an event to a different venue. Please ensure that we have an email address and mobile telephone number for you, so that we can update you with any changes. NB these might happen at short notice, so please make sure we have contact details for you while you are in Fowey.

Credit/Debit Cards

Visa, Mastercard, Solo and Maestro are accepted. Please provide a card number, issue number, expiry date, security code, name and address of the card holder through the secure payment with Square Payments. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
