To celebrate the beautiful Tinder Press republication of his 30 year backlist, we are delighted to welcome bestselling author, Patrick Gale as the 2018 Big Read author.Patrick has chosen his highly acclaimed novel Rough Music as the book for this interactive event. Hear him in conversation to introduce the novel, after which the floor is open to the audience to engage in what promises to be an interesting discussion about Rough Music.Although created with book clubs in mind, this event is open to all. We do recommend that you read the featured book in advance so that you can gain the very most from the discussion.Patrick Gale is the author of the BBC drama Man in an Orange Shirt and of novels including A Perfectly Good Man, The Whole Day Through, the Richard and Judy bestseller Notes From An Exhibition and his latest, the Costa nominated A Place Called Winter.His new book Take Nothing With You is published later this year and some lucky readers at the end of Patrick’s event will be leaving with a signed proof of the novel.
